July

Eleanor turned 10 on July 21st. She wanted a Spider-man cake. This child is so chill. She asked for sheets for her birthday.
A few days before her birthday, I found a really cheap cruise on sale. It was a four night five day cruise. It only had one stop in Cozumel, but since the girls didn't get a vacation, we decided to use the money we were going to use for a Thanksgiving trip now. We decided to keep it a secret until the day before. Isaac gave us the idea of hiding the information in a pinata. So that's what we did. They were super surprise and excited.

So Tuesday morning, we set off. We stopped at Buckee's.

We made it to Galveston. We got on the Carnival Vista. This was a pretty new boat with lots of  things for the girls to do.
We had these great rooms. They were nautical themed. The best part was that they had a family lounge right next door. The girls could get ice cream, drinks, snacks, and play video games any time of day.

Patrick, Imogen, and Eleanor won super hero trivia.

Our one stop was in Cozumel. We went to Paradise Island. This beach club had floating slides, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, all you could eat and drinks. It was perfect.

The rest of the cruise was full of family time. Lots of playing games and relaxing.

It has been a wonderful summer. School starts in two days, and I am not ready to leave my babies.
